EXPERIAN

Enhances Service Functionality and Achieves Rapid Client Adoption 17 Times Faster with CAP – the Composable Agentic Platform

“Only CAP with it’s Component Based Delivery methodology offered Experian the flexibility and agility demanded by clients to deliver the solution end-to-end in days and weeks rather than the typical months and years change development lifecycle typically experienced internally”

by | Dec 6, 2013

The Situation

Experian, the global information services giant, having seen a significant growth in fraud rates consistent with global trends was working hard to offer a more extensive service to better serve clients and address the fraud threats they face whilst responding quickly to a rapidly changing fraud environment.

The Challenge

Experian needed to integrate additional services such as address and driver license number validation into their fraud prevention service, Hunter, through their data center in Hong Kong.

Experian wanted to offer new services with zero IT impact to their clients so they could benefit from the enhanced level of protection provided by migrating to the newly developed Hunter 2 platform, offering real-time protection from ever increasing fraud threats.

The Goal

  • Platform Migration – Experian needed to migrate clients to their enhanced Hunter Fraud Prevention Service.
  • Fast Delivery – Experian needed to demonstrate rapid ROI both internally and to their clients.
  • Zero IT Impact – Experian wanted to demonstrate a competitive advantage through ‘zero touch’ IT impact.
  • Additional Services– Offering immediate and future additional services through the Hunter platform to their clients and their customers such as real-time address and driver license number validation.

Why Composable Agentic Platform (CAP)?

Rapid Deployment

The CAP solution was deployed as a component of Experian’s Hunter platform in under two weeks, rather than the two years quoted by alternative solution providers. No additional client effort was required, and the solution was deployed to existing architecture, with no application code changes, to the newly developed service.

Added Value

Experian’s clients and their customers benefit from additional services such as address and driver license number validation, which have been integrated into their fraud prevention service.

Additionally, a team of certified CAP practitioners has been established in Melbourne in order to support this new architectural approach, in order to deliver rapid results offered by this technology to many of the other services offerings currently available or now being developed by Experian.

About TomorrowX

TomorrowX invented a new type of software for corporates and governments to deal with the challenges of management of older legacy systems. Challenges like security, compliance, new functionality and user interface enhancements to support mobile devices are but a few examples.

Rather than requiring new ‘developments’ and ‘customizations’ which take months and years and cost millions, companies like Paypal, Standard Chartered Bank, KPMG, Experian, Bank of Cyprus, JCC Payments and others have been using CAP to achieve the same outcome in days and for lower cost.

The difference is simple: rather than making changes *in* the system (code) itself, TomorrowX offers software to make the changes in the data stream going in and out of the system.

CAP, the Composable Agentic Platform – it’s changing how you change IT.
